Konpa Dance Workshop – June 27th

Konpa Dance Workshop – June 27th

Haitian Konpa Dance Workshop is back in session!

Our Haitian Konpa Dance Workshop is back!

I can honestly say that I’ve been experiencing withdrawals from not being able to go out and dance socially at any type of gather. Be it a club, dance workshop, or dance project with friends.

I’m happy to say that THE WAIT IS OVER!

We’re excited about our first open/public dance class since the COVID-19 outbreak. While we’re beyond happy to see many of you this coming Saturday, we will be taking precautions to ensure your health and safety. We will limit the number of people that are able to take each class. If you decide to pay as a walk-in instead of pre-booking online, we will accommodate you based on how many people are in the class.

If you’re ready to take this class with us, please click here to book this class now.

If you’re new to this whole concept of Haitian Konpa dancing, no worries. Click here to learn about Haitian Konpa or click here to watch a short video promotion.

What to expect.

If you’ve never taken a Konpa class with KOTR, we want you to expect to have fun. More than anything, dance in all forms is supposed to bring your joy. We want our class to be your getaway from work-life, bills, responsibilities of the world, and any drama that may be pressing you. When you attend our class, expect to enter a judge free zone where you get to be you. Let your hair down and loosen your shoulders as we help you learn the art of Haiti’s pop-cultural dance. Invite your family, your friends, and co-workers. There’s no better way to whine down than to do it around people you already know.

While we do encourage you to invite familiar faces, also expect to meet new faces.
