Simply amazing and fun. Lots of laughs and lots of techniques that's eye opener. Being of haitian decent and not knowing all these amazing moves and body language you can have with konpa will surprised. The instructions are just so damm awesome, funny, patience and amazing and what they do. Highly recommend for all to book a class you will be be back over and over again.

I had a phenomenal experience. My husband and I just had a private session to prepare us for our wedding day, and although we we are both novices to Konpa, Jess took her time breaking down the moves and supported us through each new step. I feel so confident that we’re going to have an unforgettable performance thanks to Jess’s guidance. She’s such a kind spirit and a great teacher. 10/10 recommend for all level of learners. I can’t wait to do our next class before the wedding. This is lots of fun for groups too, I highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

I recently enjoyed attending the Little Haiti Book Festival, where the standout performance was an exceptional Haitian konpa dance in the courtyard. This vibrant performance not only entertained the attendees but provided a thrilling glimpse into the community's rich cultural heritage. The festival, which is an integral celebration of shared culture, literature, and community spirit, was further enriched by this dynamic performance. The dancers captivated the audience, drawing us all into the essence of their cultural roots with every passionate step and movement. The performance was more than a dance; it was a living testament to the vitality of the community's culture, filled with such palpable passion and enthusiasm that it was utterly contagious. This mesmerizing konpa dance significantly added to the overall success and enjoyment of the festival. Sony: Thank you for your time, talent, and dedication to our shared culture. I found your dance mesmerizing and enriching. Your ability to captivate audiences with their exceptional skills added an invaluable dimension to the event, and I'm excited about the prospect of your continued participation in future festivals. Thank you for your outstanding contribution to the Little Haiti Book Festival. It is performances like these that leave a lasting impact on our community.

To say we have a blast is an understatement. My husband and I choose Kompa lesson to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. And can I say not only did we dance but we learned A LOT about technique. It left my husband and I the next day reaching out to Sony about group sessions for our family. Definitely MUST do again and again and again.
